Buraq Horse Riding School wants to connect people to horses and help develop character traits like discipline
and confidence through riding. Our dream started to become a reality in early 2023. Many people have a
misconception that horse riding is a sport for the elite. This is far from the reality. We want to help people
understand that riding is a beautiful sport that can teach people like no other. Many life lessons are taught through
this sport, like the importance of facing fears, responsibility and building strength from within. This can carry on
and affect all other areas of life. Other virtues like patience and focus are taught when you interact with the horses,
and turn the things we love to do into things that have real meaning.
Since day one, our vision has been the same. We want to bring the elite realm of horsemanship to the people of
Dhaka in an authentic, fanciful, and welcoming way. Creating a safe, uplifting, and encouraging atmosphere for
riders of all ages and experiences is our goal. Education at our facility fosters growth and honesty as opposed to
just learning skills. Learning may even include traditional practice of horseback archery. We guarantee that every
milestone is acknowledged; we want to support a child who is trotting for the first time and an adult who has just
begun a new pastime. We know that our riders and horses take time to build trust, as well as our instructors. Our
facility in Sunvalley is an encouraging environment and a sanctuary of peace, where all of the focus is the rider
and the transformation that comes as a result.
Riding is best enjoyed with community and courtesy. we lovingly raise our horses with exceptional veterinary
care, putting the horse in the field with you. Riding is only part of what Buraq is about. You’re part of the family.
